LAKELAND HAWKS YOUTH HOCKEY
Youth Hockey 6U-14U
Lakeland Hawks is a community-based youth hockey organization that develops more than just hockey players. We use the game as a vehicle to teach valuable life skills, including confidence, pride, focus, and responsibility. Our program emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and creating lifelong friendships both on and off the ice.
Ages
4K-9th Grade. Birth years 2020-2012.

When
6U-14U:
Season begins with evaluations 1st week of October (8U-12U) and practices starting 2nd week of October. Ending 1st week of March.
Where
8U-14U:
Practices & home games are held at the LHIA. Away games are played across the North/Central WI region. Games are played on Saturdays & Sundays.
6U: Practices only, held @ LHIA. No games played, a few in house scrimmages.
Practices
6U & 8U Teams practice 2 times a week.
10U-14U Teams practice 3 times a week.

Games
Teams will play games that are held on Saturday and Sundays. # of games Hawks play are set by the USA Hockey and WAHA recommendations.
6U Mini Mites -6-20 in house games
8U Mites- 6-20 games
10U Squirt - 20-25 games
12U PeeWee - 30-35 games
14U Bantam - 40-50 games
Tournaments
8U Mites-Bantam Teams will have either 1 HOME tournament weekend @ LHIA and 1 AWAY weekend where hotel or overnight stay may be required OR 2 AWAY weekend tournaments.
Jerseys & Socks
Jersey's are provided for the season and returned at the conclusion of season.
Hockey Game Socks (Black & White) are part of registration fees and are yours to keep at end of season.

LHIA is fortunate to have well stocked equipment room due to our generous members who donate their gently used & new gear acquired through WAHA & USA Hockey Grant programs.
